The Brick of Mormon series of books are LEGO-illustrated and designed to bring to life some of the stories from the Book of Mormon and early history of
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Just as it is important to liken all scriptures unto ourselves, that it might be for our profit and learning (see The Book of Mormon, 1 Nephi 19:23) we see many Christlike characteristics demonstrated by the early Saints who were involved in the restoration of the Gospel and the growth of the Church. We can follow in their footsteps and adopt those same qualities in our quest to become Saints.
About the Author & Illustrators
The VanWagenen boys have long had a love for LEGOs and have been creatively working their way toward "Master Builder" status for many years.
Brick of Mormon books are the result of hours of playing with LEGOs while trying to discuss and apply the teachings from the Book of Mormon and many stories found in Church history.

After retelling the stories and taking pictures of the scenes we had built, we wanted to preserve our experiences and creations. We enjoyed building the books together and appreciate all those who helped along the way so we could share these illustrated stores with families around the world.
Proceeds from the sale of the books are directed toward the missionary funds for the illustrators. Taylor served in the Portugal Lisbon Mission. Matthew has been serving in the China Hong Kong mission. Our other three sons are preparing to follow in their footsteps.
